Job Summary: Patrols facilities and grounds maintaining surveillance; responds to calls to investigate, correct, and/or report incidents or conditions including: thefts, property damage, waste of supplies and resources, disturbances, smoke, fire, defective equipment, obstructions, safety hazards, and unlocked doors and windows. Assists personnel and visitors by giving directions and answering questions; provides escorts as requested; unlocks doors upon request, as authorized; notifies appropriate department/individual if emergency repairs or services are needed; checks individuals removing property from the premises for authorization; detains if necessary until proper authorization is found; assists in restraining patients under supervision of physician or nurse; prepares written reports as necessary, including daily activity reports, incident reports, and other reports as required; performs additional duties as assigned by medical center security management.
Status: Full-time / Hours: Flexible
Requirements
- High School graduate / GED
- Valid California Driver’s License (no more than 3 pts.)
- Must provide H-6 driving record (No DUI’s or Outstanding Warrants)
- Drug Screening
- Must pass Background Check
- Ability to Communicate clearly
- Good Spelling and Report Writing
- Professionally Groomed
